This beautiful signature mug features an exclusive design created by the artist Mario Bruno, depicting the colors and emblem of the Palio di Siena Contrada mentioned in the product title.

The "Palio di Siena" is a reenactment of a medieval horse race that takes place twice a year during the summer season in the beautiful city of Siena, located in the stunning Tuscany region.
The race gets its name 'Palio' from the Italian word for 'banner'. The richly decorated Palio Banner is awarded to the winning 'Contrada' (District) of the race.
Seventeen Contrade compete in the Palio twice a year in July and August, each with its insignia. We sell porcelain coffee mugs printed in high resolution featuring all seventeen Contrade insignias.

About this Contrada's insignia
CONTRADA PRIORA DELLA CIVETTA: Featuring an owl sits on an olive branch with green leaves and black olives, depicted in its natural majesty. The owl is crowned in the old style, and on each side, there are two shields with the initials U and M (representing Umberto I and Margherita of Savoy) in gold.

Orders are shipped customarily within two business days from our Chicago, IL distribution center.

Return accepted for any reason if shipped back within five from receipt date.

Care Instructions

Sublimation products are dishwasher and microwave safe.
Place on Top-Rack only as too much heat might reactivate the sublimation ink.
For hand washing, soap has not effect on the print but do not use any scrubbing pads.
